The name “Egune” is derived from an old Mongolian word used to refer to non-living things, reflecting the company’s focus on creating intelligent, life-like AI entities.

The roots of Egune AI can be traced back to 2008 when Bolorsoft was established with the aim of developing advanced natural language processing (NLP) solutions for the Mongolian language. Over the years, Bolorsoft achieved significant milestones, including the release of the largest online Mongolian Bilingual dictionary, Bolor Toli, and the first Mongolian Spellchecker, Bolor Duran.
